Is it true that Shaivites also go to Tirupati? And if yes, then is there something like Vaishnavites call Balaji as Venkat'ramana' and shaivites call him as venkat'eswara'? What is the reason?

Yes. Everyone calls him according to their visualisation:

North Indians Call him as Bala-ji.

Elders call him as Thimmappa.

Youngsters call him as Venkatesh.

Shaivites call him as Venkateshwara.

Some Vaishnavites call him as Venkata Ramana.

Some Vaishnavites call him as Venkata Krishna.

Jains call him as Neminatha.

He is the peak Venkatadri.

Tamils call him Ezhumalai (7 hills in Seshachalam range)

Locals call him Srinivasa.

Yes. Everyone can divide him with their favorite names.

But all agree that

He is Tirupati.

Pati of Tiru.

Husband of Money Goddess (Thayar)

NB: Many may not be aware that Tirumala Tirupati belong to “Sri Vaishnavism” sect- not Vaisnavism.
