There is a racist organization in Tamil Nadu called “Tamil Desiyam” running “Karuppar Koottam” type of playlists called “Sanga Thamizhan” under the guidance of a ex Film Director Seeman.
Seeman has the support of “Sri Lankan Tamils and Ex Plantation workers of Indian Tamils of Sri Lanka” displaced in other countries like UK, Canada, Australia.
The funny part is that Sri Lanka has a population of 2 Cr, in which Tamils are 10% or 20 lakhs, less than any Indian Metro city.
And we are aware that Sri Lanka has ethnic problem and few lakhs are now “Vandheris or Refugees or Paradeshis” of UK, Canada, Australia and India. We accepted about 1.2 lakh people on humanitarian grounds.
These Paradeshis support Tamil Desiyam to play ethnic cards in “Amaidhi Poonga Tamil Nadu” That is tail (few lakhs) want mainland TN with 8 crore population to dance.

Tamil literature flourished from time to time at the need of the society. The contribution of 64 Nayanmars and 12 Azhvars during the resurrection of Hinduism fuelled the Tamil literature to the space out of the clutches of Gravity.
Bhagavata Puranam is the Sanskrit Translation of Tamil Azhwar works, such was the power of Tamil.
They created a sect, called Sri Vaishnavism and created rituals “Mangalasanam” (a pre runner to present day ISO certification). It is now a mystery, the temples followed the rituals, withstood invasions (thanks to our empires/kings), worlds biggest (Sri Rangam types) in many respects including constructions and wealthiest (Tirupati types) of the world.
Another bhakti literature is Nalayira Divya Prabhandam by Azhwars. Notable among them is Nammalwar, a Pallar, who contributed thousand verses of the Nalayira Divya Prabhandam. Many are not aware Azhwars were from all communities, including a king.
