When and how did the castes like Kamma, Kapu, Vaishya, etc. come into existence in the Telugu community? I recently got some knowledge about the Mahabharata and other scripts, and the only castes I could find were Brahmins and Yadavas.

 I have a doubt whether Telugu Community lives in South of Vindhyas or a place in North West called Arya Vardha.

Aryavardha is a region around River Sindhu basin and the tribes found there are called Aryans.

There was a registrar called Manu who classified the aryan folks into priests, soldiers, push cart vendors and coolies and the language used is Sanskrit.

I hope Kamma, Kapu, Reddy, Shetty are Telugu caste names which will not come under purview of Manu classification.

Example- In the history, the system showed 404. Error, when tried to input Sivaji Bhonsle as Kshatiya.

Everyone needs to be certified according to Manu Smiriti. It is the only authority to certify four varnas of Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra etc.

It’s scope is limited from South of Himalayas and upto North of Vindhya Ranges only. It gives erratic results outside the boundary.

For instance, Sugriva, a king of Kishkinda, in epic Ramayana is quoted as “Vanara”.

According to the mahavamasa, Sinhabahu, who is the king of lion people, sinhalese, is the son of Suppadevi and a lion. If there is any hang in the system, it blindly categorize as “Shudra”. Here, Sanskrit and Manu go down to that extent of categorising them as a child born out of copulation of human and lion.

Having said that the top two nuisances are caste system and gender discrimination. Just think over, any rational person will agree on birth based superiority.

No caste system is found earlier to Manu in Aryavardha. Somebody called, Manu, has come into the gap and did animal sacrifice.

Just answer me, who ever questioned, is it correct to i)accord inferior rights to women and condom them

ii) punish harshly shudras and special priviledges to so called upper varnas.

See the sorry state of our classic language sanskrit in our holy land and learn from it.

Kammas are Kammas (ear rings? There may be legends in telugu; believe your forefatgers than manu)

Reddys are Reddys;

Kapus are Kapus.

Nothing more than that.
