Is the Jallikattu event held in the Northern Tamil-speaking parts of Sri Lanka?

 

  1. Jallikkattu dates back to era of Sangam (400–100BC).
  2. Sangam Literatures pertains to Madurai and adjacent districts.
  3. Today also, Jallikkattu is practiced mostly in villages near Madurai and adjacent districts.

Not in Sri Lanka.
