Why does Tamil Nadu want freedom from India?

 Yes. Vaishali.

Tamil Nadus earlier avatars of geographic boundary fought deadly with British, French, Dutch, Portuguese from 1740s till 1810s.

From 1810s till 1947, it wanted to get separated from British India. Even Hindi agitation started in 1931.

But after independence, Tamil people become more patriotic, with occasional voices of dissatisfaction.

But regions which wanted to get separated from India did it with vigour and sincerity, pursued it and got separated. as can be seen from below:

I can site, atleast three incidents, from History:

1.Vaishali Mathur, Punjabis asked for the separate country, Pakistan was born.

2.Vaishali Mathur, Even a tiny Indian State is further divided into Punjab, Haryana and HP. They could not live peacefully within an Indian State.

3.Vaishali Mathur, Bengalis asked for the separate country, Bangladesh was born.

4. Vaishali Mathur, As we know, Kashmiris are now asking for a separate country……..If you observe all the above, it is the religion/ culture provoking the separation.

Fortunately, if we take example of South Indian State say TN, Tamil Nadu is a homogenous state sharing the same culture, adjusting all, including atheists - the rest of India is longing for this peace. Others could not stomach. They spread hatred and throwing mud.
