 Is Thiruvalluvar a scientist?

  1. Thiruvalluvar is neither born nor died.
  2. Thiruvalluvar is neither a Hindu nor a Jain.
  3. Thiruvalluvar is neither a Scientist nor a mystic.
  4. It is a speculation.
  5. He has been given a form, put a whilte beard on his face with a matching costume.
  6. The fact so far, is that some one, clearing old stuff in baran (mazanine floor) of his house during boghi found a set of palm leaves with these world famous Thirukkural. No body knows beyond that, the rest is all speculation.
  7. 20th century saw many Tamil Scholars, Tamil politicians took advantage of him and branded him according to their whims.
  8. Thiruvalluvar has been a “Kama Dhenu” “Kalpa Vriksha” for many scholars. Many made their living with beautiful stories, discourses, explanatory notes around it. Awarded Doctorates, Appeared in TVs, Made a profession in Colleges,in Schools, Become powerful Speakers
  9. It is possible that many poets would have written this collection of 1330 Kurals.
  10. It is a Bhagavat Gita for Tamils; Bible for Tamils; Quran for Tamils.
  11. Tamil students are intelligent as they are asked to memorize 20–50 Kurals in a year.
  12. It is enjoyable to read a Kural while commuting in buses.
  13. Better thing would be for us to read each Kural for a day and allow it to sink into you in its original writings with your own understanding. Repeat it for every four years.
  14. Thirukkural is a greatest “Wisdom” Tamil mother offered for the welfare of Humanity.
